Due to illiteracy and poverty the dental health of people is in pretty bad state and the increasing use of different kinds of tobaccos and cigarettes worsens the condition. Due to lack of healthcare facilities people don’t get a chance to treat their minor illnesses and end up in early tooth extraction, different mouth ulcers and even mouth cancers. Al-Mustafa Welfare Society arranged free dental camps in different cities of Sindh. Our volunteers visited 10 cities including Hyderabad, Thatta, Hathungo, Sakrand, Nawabshah, bandhi, Larkana, Sukkur, Kashmore and Jacobabad and provided free dental treatments, medicine and counselling to patients in our Mobile Dental Unit. They also educated people the methods of maintaining oral hygiene and the importance of keeping your teeth healthy.
