DISASTER AND EMERGENCY RELIEF

Al-Mustafa Welfare Society has always responded to the call of rescue, relief and rehabilitation whenever a disaster has occurred in the country or outside the country. Al-Mustafa Welfare Society has a vast network of workers and volunteers throughout Pakistan and overseas, so whenever the need has emerged, we have always responded promptly.

Al-Mustafa Welfare Society had responded from the very first day to the voice of the victims of earthquake 2005, floods in the year 2010, 2011 and 2012. We were there from rescue to rehabilitation. Al-Mustafa Welfare Society’s Relief Camps in earthquake 2005 were also visited by the then Secretary General UN Mr. Kufi Annan, the then President and the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

Al-Mustafa Welfare Society Welfare Society believes in serving humanity and since humanity has no borders, therefore, we have tried our best to take part in the rehabilitation of the people suffering in other parts of the world, especially the victims of wars and genocide. In this regard, Al-Mustafa Welfare Society served ration bags and other livelihoods among 7000 Syrian refugee families who are forced to live in different refugee camps of Jordan, Turkey and Hungry due to the ongoing war. We also supported the victims of Muslim genocide in Burma, who then took refuge on the borders of Bangladesh. Al-Mustafa Welfare Society provided these victims with tents, ration bags, newborn feed, pregnant woman feed, first aid kits, mats, blankets and other livelihoods. Our volunteers also took sessions on basics of healthcare to help them cope with the current situation during those tough times.
