Breast cancer is a deadly disease which could be fatal at many instances, if detected and treated earlier then the loss can be minimized. In our society women feel shy and hesitate to learn about and share their symptoms. Under the health awareness campaign of Al-Mustafa Welfare Society, the H.O.D of the obstetrics and Gynae Department of Al-Mustafa Medical Centre, Gulshan; Dr. Shahnaz Ghogharo organized a Breast Cancer awareness seminar for the common women. Renowned breast surgeon Professor Rufina Soomro gave a detailed session about how the symptoms can be spotted and what treatment measures should be taken by the patient and the family.
