A Loving Home for Every Child

Daughters are Allah’s blessings and raising them well is an honour for Muslims. But raising a girl is also a huge and sensitive responsibility which demands complete dedication and thoughtfulness. Al-Mustafa’s administration initially decided to start off with an orphanage for boys only. The public has been requesting Al-Mustafa’s management to initiate a similar setup for girls as well, including reputed personalities and the families of orphaned girls, especially the sisters of the boys who are already enrolled at MyHome Al-Mustafa.

After careful consideration, Al-Mustafa’s Board of Trust approved building a separate orphanage, an academy for orphaned girls and a shelter home for destitute and abandoned old age women. In 2022, a suitable piece of land in the trust’s possession was allotted to build the orphanage, senior citizen home and academy, and a building plan was designed and approved. Currently, the construction of the orphanage has been officially started, and the foundations have been laid.

Education

All the orphans of MyHome Al-Mustafa will be enrolled in the same school constructed with the orphanage, where they will study with other students. All the children will be provided with school supplies, books, uniforms, and shoes etc. We aim to give these kids quality education so that they can pursue higher studies as per their interest in the future.

All the children belonging to Muslim families will be given basic Quranic and Islamic education daily so that they can learn and practice their religion.

We also aim to employ home tutors to aid weak students in their regular school education.

Health

A healthy child is a happy child. The diet of the children at MyHome will be given special attention, and a balanced diet plan will be designed and followed according to the needs of growing children. An in-house dispensary will provide immediate medical care to the residents, and for severe illnesses or emergencies, patients will be taken to Al-Mustafa’s or any other Hospital.

Clothing

Children have particular needs for clothing suitable for different seasons and events etc. Appropriate dressing according to the season and/or occasion not only ensures good health but also boosts the confidence of the individual.

Sports/Physical Activities

Physical activity is a must part of a child’s life. It not only makes the children happy, but it also makes them healthy, active, and intelligent. MyHome’s building is designed with a gymnasium and open spaces to encourage children for sports and physical activities.

Security

The most crucial aspect of managing a Girls’ Orphanage is to ensure the security of the residents. The Board of Trustees of Al-Mustafa are mainly concerned with ensuring the security of our daughters, and a strict policy will be followed for this purpose.
